Law Enforcement Agencies
Building Situational Awareness
Building situation awareness has always been, and will continue to be, a necessary skill seasoned law enforcement officers develop over their careers. Having the right tools at your side reduces misjudgment when each critical second counts. DJI’s high-resolution cameras provide critical observation during high-risk situations assisting with positive identification. Learn how FSS Ventures gives you the right tools with the right training from experienced instructors.
Drone usage is now being woven into annual and specific training routines. SWAT, special operation squads, bomb squads, and K-9 units realize the importance of integrating drones into standard operating procedures and execution optimizing situational awareness. Drones send live video feeds to the on-scene commander as special software helps to identify subjects using proprietary technology to track subjects through cover & concealment and maintain appropriate security posture. Increased options are available when drones are on-scene.
Expedient, Expeditionary & Lightweight
DJI’s Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual maximizes every cubic inch to deliver RGB optics with a FLIR camera, an object avoidance system, aircraft detection capability and modular add-ons. The entire system fits into a seven pound 15” x 12” x 8” hard case or smaller soft case for maximum travel economy. Employing the Mavic 2 takes less than five minutes for the remote pilot to begin flying. The larger, more capable cousins of the Mavic 2 are more sophisticated with around 10 minute set-up times. Never before has it been easier or more affordable to bring nearly instantaneous aerial capabilities to developing situations for the purposes of intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance and acquisition.
